Food Facility Control-System Recovery and Recommissioning
Engineering recovery and recommissioning of a temperature-controlled food facility after care-and-maintenance, with project files and setpoints recovered and control behaviour checked before return to service.
The site was west of Melbourne and had been in care-and-maintenance, requiring recommissioning before returning to operation. The control system included a Rockwell CompactLogix PLC, Citect SCADA, Vacon VSDs and ABB VSDs. Original project files, setpoint records and drawing information were incomplete, missing or unreliable. The system needed to be recovered, checked, documented and recommissioned carefully before the facility could be brought back into service.
